Chilled Bee

This little fellow was cold, wet and extremely compliant when I took a few shots of him this afternoon. Worth viewing large if you dare.

Other nature news - quite a few dead gannet chicks washed onto the beach after the north westerly which brought in rough seas yesterday - always sad to see but frankly won't make to much of a dent on the population on the Bass.

Also have to report that none of these cygnets made to thorugh the summer. Victims of the foxes which are a constant menace on the estate - I have something of a love/hate relationship with them. Not feeling that well disposed to Mr Fox at present but understand how nature works.
