Pause

Pause and be silent,
For all innocent victims,
Of ruthless belief.

So it's 9/11 (or more correctly 11/09). A chilling anniversary of an atrocity, but we should also think of all those others who have suffered or are suffering as a result of another's lust for an ideology and/or power.

It has gone on for centuries and shows no sign of abating. I can't help feeling that meeting violence with more violence is not a long term solution. But what is?
