Hello John, got a new motor?

The names Matthew actually and yes, his new motor is my old motor :-)

A 7 seater people carrier is not the typical vehicle of choice for a 26 year old lad, but (a) beggars can't be choosers and (b) when your lifestyle involves carting people, bikes and canoes around the UK and France, a people carrier is not such a a bad choice.

I haven't actually signed it over to him yet but will do so as soon as he gets the insurance sorted out. Probably later today or tomorrow. He leaves for Shrewsbury tomorrow where he is working until late October. It will be funny seeing him set off in my old car.

He went to Halfords at lunchtime. I assumed to buy something useful for the car. Well, if you call self adhesive chrome letters that spell MOWGLI, his nickname useful then it was a successful shopping trip. Can't blame him. He needs to do something to restore his street cred.

A nice meal at Rachel's last night and out for an Indian tonight. The boy may only be home for a few weeks a year but when he is, he does get spoiled.
