Classical Fantasia

Had a last minute invitation to this, on Saturday night at Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds. We were fortunate, it was a dry, clear night but by jove it was chilly!

It was well attended - everyone had folding chairs and some sort if picnic type food and beverage. My party were clearly old hands at that sort of thing - a 10ft folding plastic trestle table, bottles of red, white and rose wine (and real glasses) and a full cold home made buffet very kindly provided by one if the ladies (I believe they take it in turns). What a treat!

The music was good - though I might've preferred a bit more familiar toe-tappery - and the lights and fireworks were amazing. I love love love fireworks and truly, the word "stupendous" would not be an exaggeration.
