Skipton Castle

30 is very old, saying bye bye to twenties today!

Emilia enjoyed exploring the castle, then we went for a woodland walk and headed back home.


Today we're also thinking about my granddad who passed away this morning. Remembering all the stories he told us, times when he would be testing our German and teaching us German songs; and times when he would tell us off for wearing skirts that were always too short. His optimism and cheerfulness will be greatly missed.
