Conference pears

As you can see we had rain today and it was cold. A sign of things to come but hopefully we will cling onto some better weather for another 2 weeks as we are off to Ireland on Thursday for 12 days.
I have 2 espaliered pear trees in my front garden and they have cropped well this year. Hopefully they will still be on the trees when we return from holiday!
It is blowing a gale outside so I think I will be taking winter clothes with me!
