A day of loveliness

A day away from the office staffing an exhibition stand at the Forum in the city centre with my colleagues.

It was hard going, to be honest, but loveliness included:

- meeting people from Clinks Care Farm that my colleagues helped to set up and getting some fabulous fresh veggies from them.

- meeting up with an old friend from Bradford who was having a look round the Forum before she caught her train back to Bradford. She had only been in Norwich overnight and it was purely by chance we were both in the Forum at the same time.

- Rol and I had decided to treat ourselves to supper at Take5 before we went on to the opening of a friend's art exhibition. Matthew, one of the waiters, gave us this little note - his treat.

- it transpired that Sophie wasn't actually having an opening. But her exhibition - at Franks Bar on Bedford Street - was hung today. Not sure how long it will be there for.

- Sophie wasn't at Franks but our friends Kerry and Gary were. It's been ages since we've seen them so that was nice.

A lovely, if rainy, day.
