Tuesday: Rubbish In The Window

I walked past this today on my way to a meeting.  I'm not quite sure why it appealed - it just did.  And, rarely, I wasn't really in the mood for a building.

Today was busy - although things still ticked over in the summer, yesterday and today it really felt like everything was stepping up a pace again.  This evening I went to a reception for my American colleague who has arrived to take over from Hoyt.  It is interesting how often, in my line of work, one of the first questions people ask is how much longer you will be around in a place, as if that determines whether you are worth getting to know.
