Face the door

Another emergency blip; thought I'd get a picture of some autumnal colours in the park but it was too dark. Nights are fair drawing in...
Anyway, this ceramic elephant was given to my Mum by an old aunt of my Dad, who always brought something when she came to visit. My Mum's favourite is a bronze Art Deco lady, but I've always liked this elephant. She told us an elephant should always face the door of the room it's in. Makes sense, I suppose, they are big beasts and would need a lot of room to turn around.
