The future's so bright...

... I gotta wear 3D shades! Went with the troops this afternoon to see the latest Harry Potter movie at the Glasgow IMAX and we all ended up looking something like this (fortunately, only when the lights were off).

The movie itself was OK, probably the best of the bunch so far, but the first 15 minutes was in 3D which was pretty spectacular. There was an audible 'wooooow!' as the credits first rolled and combination of the IMAX screen size and the 3D meant the opening sequence when the death eaters do a high-speed fly-through of London at building height was just fantastic.

Obviously, 3D specs have come a long way since the good old days of the green/red cardboard jobs...
