Nature fun

We had another Forest Fun day, this time hazelnut foraging in Grappenhall Woods. I was even able to find some hazel trees this time, there are a lot of them there and we took home a good handful of nuts to dry out. The kids had a great time running about, pond peeping, blackberry picking (and eating) and acorn picking (and not eating). Here Chickpea was looking at a found ladybird. Though the ladybird is not actually visible.
