The Bandstand

Visited Beaumont Park in Huddersfield today - somewhere I never knew existed until I read kagsy65's blip in her Huddersfield A-Z project.
What an incredible park this is. A magnificent Victorian Park situated on a valley side on the edge of Huddersfield. We investigated the more 'formal' part of the park today, but there is a lot more to see - we will return :-)
This is the Bandstand - a rebuilt/restored replica of the original which was demolished sometime in the 1950's.
I think they've done a magnificent job (and it's a bit unusual by being square - rather than round).
