Child labour
So Red's first day went well. Except for the unexpected fire alarm just before lunch which resulted in a bit of a meltdown. In fact all he could tell me about yesterday was that he'd sat with Lily at lunchtime and there was an alarm.
Today Red told me he didn't want to go back into his class because of the alarm. He wanted to go back to nursery. So we told him he HAS to go to Red Class because it's his class - Red needs to be in Red Class. He went in happy enough then...
Cheeky and banking with ClareClare (blissful coffee - even the M&S cafe lady commented in how nice it must be !).
Home and some of those niggly little jobs done. Many more to do but I have TIME and no small helpers! I could get used to this...
At bedtime Red asked Lily to read his story, so that's 2 reading diaries done with minimal effort from me - result!
