Tour De Jewson

Today four brave members of staff cycled from mablethorpe to Newark (71 miles) in aid of barnardos and under the banner of Jewson. Across the country Jewson staff are taking to the road to raise funds for our chosen charity. I didn't partake because (choose your own answer)

1 - Someone had to look after the branch
2 - I look dodgy in lycra
3 - I don't have a bike
4 - It would f*cking kill me

Either way this is New Account Specialist Mick Swain finishing the second leg (of three) a good hour and a half before two others, and a good two hours before my boss.

Oh how we laughed, although to be fair it was a laugh of grudging respect. My gaffer turned up looking like a broken man.

To see a picture of all four, and the designated driver of the support vehicle you'll need to check out the journal of my colleague and good friend Brian. We had a pact that he could use the 'team photo' whilst I got to have my pick of the rest.

In other news I'm training in Hull for two days from tomorrow, so I'll be hoping to get a decent blip or two there.
