Jordan's View's
On Monday, September 9, 2013 the Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour stated that Jordan will NOT go into a state of emergency even if Syria is targeted in a military strike. The PM claimed that there is no need for that and a state of emergency is necessary at all. The continues on to say that Jordan is hoping for a political solution to the ongoing crisis and peaceful solutions rather than any military action.
The PM explained even more stating that bloodshed needs to stop in Syria and he hopes for open and productive dialogue between conflicting countries so as to reach peace. However, the PM is also aware of the realities and while he hopes for the best and seems to be supporting positive actions rather then destructive ones, he is ready is need be. The PM told The Jordan Times that the Jordanian Army and security agencies are ready fi the conflict continues to escalate and put the people or Jordan in harm. Jordan is prepared to safeguard is security and citizens as well as their national security and interests.
Officials and most people any military action in Syria, but are also against the deteriorating situation and horrible bloodshed happening in the country as well.
