Blackberries
It's a great year for blackberries. We've picked a huge amount and it looks like they may last for some time to come. We're lucky the green at the back of our house gives us enough without going elsewhere. I take a step ladder down to reach the high ones. We've made 2 litres of blackberry brandy, a litre of blackberry vinegar, 3 litres of blackberry cider, 3 blackberry and apple crumbles, frozen loads and had fresh ones in the muesli for breakfast and with cream for tea. We're now going to add blackberry cordial to the list.
