A Day At A Time.

The Long Journey Begins

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

Quite true.

More importantly it's the first day of the new term and the children are back in their hordes.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

But it's good to be back. The brain is clear and refreshed and all the staff are buzzing with enthusiasm and vitality.

(That'll last a week.)

It's such an important time, like New Year's Day. All the great ideas and resolutions to do things better are about to be put into action.

For me, it's doubly important as I can take complete ownership of what happens. Arriving in late November last year, as I did, meant that I inherited some things that were not to my liking and hard to change.

Now everything is down to me.

Of course it will also be my fault if it goes pear-shaped.

So it had better not!
