The Cygnet and his family are now back from a weekend at Drayton Manor where he seemingly had a great time on the rides.
It seems to have recharged his batteries judging by how he was when we went round to visit before he headed off to nursery (and at nursery too apparently)

The hens I am looking after this week have had a severe talking to today - they are not living up to their side of the bargain ......... we are down by about 50% of the promised egg output. So they have been warmed that if productivity does not improve with immediate effect they may find themselves in the pot.

It has been quite a nice day for most of the day, so the big hedge got a haircut.

It would appear that I am driving down to Penrith tomorrow late afternoon to bring back son-in-law who is selling Bags car to a work collegue.
