Rain did it???

So i thought at 5 o'clock this evening i would take the pooches for a walk and as i was walking i saw a big black sky and I stupidly took no notice of the said sky, well i did think oh that's a nice dark sky WTF and carried on enjoying the sun that was behind me shinning away. I did notice sun disappear behind a cloud and then it suddenly dawned on me that it was a very big dark rain cloud!!!!!! Even Glenn had texted me to say head back it's gonna rain which i looked at when it was pouring

So i thought in my infinite wisdom that i could out walk this black sky!! I know i am very stupid It started to spit i was half way from home, i started walking quicker and tucked my camera under my arm, i did have a nice lightweight summer jacket on which was red, the red part will become clear at the end because who would be stupid enough not to take a rain coat when they can see a big black sky in the distance!!

Thinking i had almost got away with it the heavens opened and rain it did absolutely poured, we all looked like drowned rats, my white t-shirt under my red jacket is now a nice pink colour, the only thing that stayed dry thank goodness was my camera!!!

Funnily enough this song did spring to mind, which made me laugh!!!


Before i go a big thank you to you all for your kind words yesterday about Percy, Penny seems to be ok today although i was worried this morning when i checked on her and couldn't see her in her bed, she had burrowed herself in the straw and when i called her she snorted and went back to sleep!! :))) x
