River Wye

We're staying in Llangoed Hall in Mid Wales next to the river Wye.
I grew up around here and it's a beautiful part of the country so a walk was very much in order.
This photograph is taken from Llanstephan suspension bridge just outside Builth.
I was hoping to do a spot of salmon fishing but nothing doing, we didn't see a single salmon, which shouldn't be the case at this time of the year, but the river has been very low and the salmon aren't running like they used to.
