Pacific Quay

This area of Glasgow has moved from the shipbuilding era to the digital age.

On the south side of the River Clyde it houses the Glasgow Science Centre, IMAX, BBC Scotland's headquarters and STV.

On the north side there is the SECC, the Armadillo and work is nearly complete on the new 12,000 seater arena, the Hydro, a major element in the city's successful bid to host the 2014 Commonwealth games.
