Harbour Steps

Went out today with my friend Janet for a coffee. We worked together many years ago. I haven't seen her for a while so we had a lot to catch up on. Janet lost her husband many years ago and now lives with her daughter and family. She never has a bad word to say about anyone and is the nicest lady on the planet. I have a lot of respect for her. We went to Porthcawl and i happened to see these steps which lead to nowhere. I thought of the book called, The Thirty Nine Steps by John Buchan. ( I know there are only 18 ) I had to read the book when i was in school and i have never forgotten it. I wonder how many people climbed these steps and how old they are? It was really wet this morning but luckily the sun came out this afternoon.
