the chain-dot geometers... pupating!

Remember these guys? They've been busy at work eating all the bayberry and huckleberry (seriously, they ate all the leaves off of a few dozen acres, and that's only where we've been looking recently) and have begun their metamorphosis. They appear to weave these holding nets and then pupate.
