St Monans
Took a wander round the old Parish Church at St Monans this morning and visited the grave of our dear friend who died last December. The church is a fascinating old building, right on the cliff side, but wonderfully light inside due to the internal walls being whitewashed. It's been a place of worship since 1370 and is still very much in use.
Amazing to see two model ships hanging from the ceiling. Not sure about the history of this one, but the other is a steam drifter, built in St Monans in 1908 and sunk in the first world war.
