Autumnal morning stroll
After dropping Leo off a school I headed out on a long walk to get my Fitbit steps in. This is the last day of the two month Fitbit Challenge to get a least 7500 steps in and I've made it - yippee! Will submit my stats to the challenge tomorrow :)
Am now sitting on the sofa having a rest after totting up 20k steps and 9 miles. I headed out of Cully for a circuit of Willand before heading home again. I ambled along exploring all the woodland areas and saw loads of acorns and conkers meaning that my favourite season is just about upon us. I love Autumn colours in the trees and particularly liked this one - it reminds me of a favourite cardigan that my mum knitted me when I was in Junior School. I lived in it and managed to grow it with me well beyond its natural lifespan with some judicious stretching! I am sure that is where my love of autumnal shades started.
I also love the cooler weather as it is ideal for walking and also means I will be able to get out the hats, scarves and gloves soon - I am always a little sad when it becomes to hot to wear them anymore :)
