Ready For Take Off!!!

Except this one wasn't. I watched this ladybird for a time and she seemed unable to stretch one of her wings out. I felt like spraying a little WD40 on her to loosen things up a bit but I suspect that that would not have been a good idea.
I looked a little later and was quite relieved that she had gone. Would vets know what to do with an injured ladybird?
This is only the second ladybird I have seen in our garden this year. Some years there have been dozens. I wonder if it is the lack of rain that has kept their numbers down.
P.S. I wonder what's the smallest creature you could take to a vet! A mouse, a fish!,
