Life on the Good Intent

War Horse

Picking up the gauntlet thrown down by Blipper. Trying to get the Kelpies with the sunset behind them, I crashed through the undergrowth on the banks of the River Carron, scratched by brambles and stung by nettles and just avoiding slithering into the stinking mud exposed by the low tide.
Still not a great angle, and the best colour in the sky was further up the river. I did manage to get this shot.
This song came to mind

In my dreams there's a horse, he stands eighteen hands
He's as white as the snow and there's fire in his eyes
And he'll bear only me though others have tried
And together we'll travel up across the divide

This inspirational work of art will be my entry for the WBC challenge on the theme of 'Inspire' and has inspired an idea. Wonder how many of Ian's themes I can enter a Kelpie picture for.
