Glimpses of green

In Edinburgh there are so many bowling greens, tucked away behind tenements and sometimes you only catch a glimpse of them from the top of a bus.

Is it a sport that will die out with all the oldies that play? Is it a sport or is it a hobby? (I regard any activity where you can smoke as a hobby rather than a sport).

Had a meeting this morning, much like yesterday's - he was a bit non-commital and monosylabic. And was expecting a wee drink after work, but nothing doing.

So worked on late - and had to listen to the sounds of laughter and the clinking of glasses from the office next door.
