Waiting....

...for the pub to open. These two were outside the door of the pub at lunchtime.
There seem to be scarecrows everywhere lately. We were bypassing the pub (honestly) to go to the Engine Museum on the site of the old pit head. It was a lot more interesting than I expected and OH was enthralled as he was an Engineer before he retired.
