You ain't gonna need your teeth...
Urrrrrrgggghhhhh! It was another night of twisting and turning (like a twisty turny thing) and at 4am I went to the bathroom and drank some water staring at my sunken eyes staring back at me from the mirror. I looked like a white ghostly creature from a horror film and I went back to bed going into a fitful doze full of horrible dreams involving falling from great heights and lots of blood and gore amidst snapping limbs.
For a change, I was relieved to be woken by a crap text joke at 6:20ish. I awoke in a panic stricken sweaty heap with my heart thumping and sent a 'Thank you' text.
I got up shortly afterwards for Sugar Puffs, yesterday's blip and a catch up on X Factor. I was actually quite industrious today and did a load more tidying and sorting. I'm not clever enough to sit and pretend to enjoy the Andrew Marr Show so I thought I might as get birdie pictures and do some violent floor scrubbing to chase away the nightmares.
Update - This was a blip of two halves and I wrote most of it before I went to the Dog and Doublet for my broccoli bake with jacket spud washed down with Abbot Ale. I got home a couple of hours later and could see my touch lamp on visible in the corner of my bedroom window. You know the lights - you can tap the stand, shade or the surface it's on so you don't need to fumble around in the dark for a switch. The thing is, they get really hot if you leave them on and can't touch at all after 5 minutes. I was really shocked I'd left mine on and ran upstairs as soon as I was through the door. The light was glowing away but I walked up to it and the shade, bulb and stand were ice cold as if the lamp had been switched on a mere moment before.
I hope everything is OK but after my early dream and a couple of things I said to Cara earlier via email I am a bit worried.
Enough rambling from me..... Let's forget about that. I just had to say it. You know I use this as my diary.
My two pals are best viewed large.
Track? To go with my nightmares and futuristic dread with my title taken from the lyrics, how about this wonderful gem from 1969 and Zager and Evans? - In the Year 2525
