Sods blummin law. Today was sunny bright and clear and as we sat up the hill this afternoon we could see for miles, as clear as you like

A definite autumnal feel to the day though and I spent the best part of the day gardening and beginning to cut back and set things right for the winter months. Mr Lif lifted some spuds and found some whoppers. Potatoes will be featuring large in this month's diet I feel!

Oh and tomorrow is Monday but....yes I have to go to work but not proper work! We are off to the races! Nibbles and champers at 10.30 then a bus through to Perth for a day of horse watching and fluttering...oh and more champers! Should be a fun day.

The only fly in the ointment....dress code..." Dress to impress"....not quite sure where to go with that one....I am guessing jeans and a tee shirt is out?
