Hot Dog

I still reckon I won the pizza making contest, but Mr A is having none of it and insists he is victorious. I needed to even the score (even though I still insist mine was the better pizza of the two) so today's challenge was a hot dog making contest.

Mr A failed at the first hurdle by cutting his bun the wrong way (down the side, rather than across the top) so very unsportingly deemed the contest null and void.

Contest aside, they were delicious, especially washed down with an ice cold root beer!
We worked out the cost of all 6 hot dogs, buns and onions came to about £1.80, but would have probably been charged at least £2.50 each if we had bought them from a vendor.

In other news....Mr A woke with a smile on his face this morning not for the reasons you are thinking mucky pups! and declared the new mattress a winner HOORAY!!!
He said its the best nights sleep he's had in ages and nothing at all to do with the 2 bottles of rosé we shared last night

He said he wanted to set fire to the old mattress and jump on it, but that's probably not a good idea so we settled on flogging it on eBay! It's worth a try and if it doesn't sell (for 99p) then it will be rehomed at the local recycling centre.
