Grand Day Back

It was another grand day on the Mallaig to Glasgow 'express' (took 5 hrs 45 mins because of needing to wait twice for trains coming in the opposite direction). On the train, I had plenty of time to finish a book which was a perfect accompaniment to a trip to the end of the Road to the Isles.

Before getting on the train, we cleared our heads by wandering around in the sunshine. A perfect antidote to a heavy couple of weeks work, which will pick up again tomorrow.

The small isles (specifically Eigg on the left and Rhum on the right - Muck and Canna are hidden) also featured in one of yesterday's blips.
