Something for everybody!

More harvest produce today. Following our Harvest themed service this morning we had our village horticultural show.

A great village event with something for everybody. Lots of produce grown and home made and prizes for many including two of our local blippers in the photography section. Well done Wendles56 and Wilsden Walker who had put in a picture of our walking companion Toby in the snow in the animals section.

I missed the show last year as I was in London buying a wedding dress! Very hot it was too. Cooler today but not enough to prevent the poly tunnel produce tent being uncomfortable and at least it wasn't the forecast rain.

Outside was a chance to chat with friends and drink tea eating local pork pie and prize winning cake! Well done Kay!

The band was playing as we arrived with airedaleknitter playing and Corinthian Column collecting but by the time we got out of the tent they had stopped and I missed the opportunity to include them in my collage.

A great day to be a part of our village.
