... and thanks to her hard labour we had the best French beans to go with Sunday roast!

ps. we went to Garsons fruit & veg farm in Esher this morning to pick the best of the season: red & white cabbages, courgettes and its beautiful flowers (which my mum is going to fry in batter a'la Italian style), beetroots, sweetcorn, french beans, blackberries, strawberries, plums, spinach, carrots ... we could have picked more but the heaven opened and we had to go :( well there is always another time ..
