Blipped again!

This quilt has been blipped twice already this week - the first time here and then again here. Today the quilt was at the MUMs Ladies Lunch 2013. The quilt depicts the story of When the Rains Come. Two thousand eight hundred raffle tickets were sold and the winning ticket was drawn at the lunch. Would you believe.......the first ticket drawn was the father of one of the girls who made the quilt!!!!! Another ticket was selected and the quilt is now on its way to its new home. The picture shows the author Tom Pow, the two girls who made the quilt and Linda McDonald, founder of Malawi Underprivileged Mums.
