What a splendid view!

We walked upwards from Pooley Bridge, for about an hour, towards The Roman Road...

The sun was shining, and the sky was blue with fluffy white clouds!

The water in the background is Ullswater, and towards the left of the picture you can see Catsycam and the Helvellyn.

The cafe in Pooley Bridge was popular with Chloe...she got a doggie bag filled with bits of ham, sausage and dog biscuits! Just the thing after a two hour walk!

My home made vegetable soup and crusty roll and butter went down well, too!
