Tree Fire!

Nana & Grandad came down to visit & babysit for us while we both work for the next few days. We spent the afternoon in the garden clearing up after Steve & daddy cut down part of our Bramley apple tree. The weight of all the apples this year had caused it to lean & twist over so sadly it had to have a chop.
I cooked roast chicken, Nana played with Grace & J & Grandad started to clean up all the twigs & leafs & set a bonfire.
The fire was roaring, lovely & warm - we ate out side & were just tucking in to dinner when we notices that the dead front branch of the tree was on fire!
We all sprang into action, ran to get the hose bucket & watering can. With much entertainment we put the fire out & continued with dinner.
