Moroccan Spice

When we were in Brighton yesterday, we saw that it was the Food and Drink Festival this weekend, and there were lots of stalls selling all kinds of different foods from a mixture of countries. So this morning we went back into town to have a look round.

We saw this Moroccan stall selling Tagine which we both love, so at lunch time we went back and we both had a Lamb Tagine. It was delicious, and came with couscous, lentils and a vegetable Tagine which you can see him serving here. I asked him if they have a restaurant, and they do but unfortunately it's in Surrey, so it's a bit far for us to go.

When we'd eaten, we sat in the sun and had a drink and then all of a sudden the rain started - it threw it down, so we went inside to take shelter which unfortunately meant we had to have another drink! It was just a passing shower though and soon stopped before it was time to head home.

Once we were back, I took Louis out for a walk, Alan's cut the grass and I've picked some apples off the tree. I've given a bag full to my neighbour and I've got a bag which I believe I can slice and then freeze until we want to use them. As I don't bake, I'll wait until my mum comes in a few weeks and see if she fancies making an apple pie :-)

Anyway, we're going to have a quick sit in the garden while the sun's still out, and then we'll watched the F1 which we've recorded. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
