Murphy's Law?
It's almost exactly five years since I started my first Open University course. It's almost exactly one year since I started working in the geography department of a local secondary school. And now it's T-minus 17 hours until I start what I did it all for - my teacher training.
Would you believe it, though, but the cold and chest infection I've been doing my best to ward off for three weeks has hit me with a vengeance! You could have put money on the fact that I'd be ill. Ugh! I thought I'd have until at least the end of October before I got this sick, once the stress of my first placement kicked in. Oh well, maybe my now-on-high-alert immune system will protect me later. I just hope I don't spend all day tomorrow coughing over everyone. So much for passing the 'fitness to teach' criteria! :-D
This picture is the present a friend gave me for my birthday last month, which I think is wonderful. I can certainly dream it, whether I can do it remains to be seen!
One thing I'm pretty sure I won't be able to do is blip every day but I'm hoping to perhaps do a 'weekly roundup' on Fridays. Hope all is well with everyone here. This picture goes for all of you, too... keep dreaming!
