Lighthouse and Drilling Rig

Out and about today, oh such a lovely day.

We think the drilling rig is looking for sights for a Windfarm beside the Bellrock Lighthouse off Arbroath. The lighthouse is on the left and dwarfed by the rig.

Going by the size of those legs it much be shallow water out there. I don't mind the windfarms being far out at sea but how effective can they be with the power they lose coming ashore.

A day for outside chores, cut grass, hoovered and washed car, then durdle round the gardening.
