Mad Ramblings Of An Idiot

Limoges

We had a pleasant stroll around the second hand fair in Limoges, though some of the things for sale were quite interesting, from Dinky toys to antique tables and chairs.

The best bit was the walk through the cathedral grounds, made necessary by the eventual choice in parking places. The original car park was something of an oddity. We found it ok, got into it ok, got out of the car park ok, but Mrs B realised tat the exit doors operate like a fire door, and you can't get back in.

A quick trip around the perimeter didn't reveal any obvious "entree" signs, so as soon as another car pulled up (automatic electric gates to allow entry) we slipped back inside. The good news was that it only cost us 20c and the other car park spot was free. Although, the two hundred steps up to the cathedral could have been the reason.

Got lots if pictures of the cathedral and its gardens, but this little water feature (of which there are many) really caught my eye.

Au revoir...
