Calgary Bay

Backblipped!

Today we drove up from Fidden Farm to Calgary Bay for a bit of wild camping. The drive was fun! Twisting, windy, hilly single track roads in Freddie - it was a challange and Avril rose to the challange tremendously well!

Calgary Bay itself was beautiful! Again, we parked Freddie right on the edge of the beach. There were loads of campers, vans and tents! We cycled up to the Calgary Bay Hotel for a light lunch and as we came back down, we came along the beach. We could see the rain heading it's way inland, I thought it might miss us, but no! We got soaked!

In the evening we went back up to the Hotel and had a beautiful meal. If you are in the area, give it a try!
