Tropical Day Lily

We had to scrap plans for a canoe trip due to threatening thunderstorms, so we paid a visit to Longwood Gardens instead. We managed to spend three hours admiring the gardens and waterfalls, then ran a few errands (one "errand" was to stop for Mexican ice cream: coconut, lime, and two peach orders) and home by 5.30pm. By 6pm the thunderstorms finally swept in (rather dramatically) and stormed maybe 45 minutes. Left us without electricity until 3am or so.

So that's why this blip was late getting posted. It was nice in some ways to not have the electricity. Felt like we were camping, but better since no tent was needed.
