Rainy Day

There is a blessing to a rainy day. The rain kept the jet-boats and personal watercraft away. So, it was fairly quite around the lake. Which was nice.

As the sun was getting low on the horizon Bucky and I went for a canoe ride out to see some local waterfowl. The Red-necked Grebes were out. And we saw a few Mallards and a Bonaparte's Gull.

After a busy and successful fishing day yesterday Bucky was quite comfortable just coasting around the quiet lake. He was quite interested in the clouds to the west and 'quacked' at the other water wildlife as we paddled slowly.

I think Bucky likes Alaska.
