Smoking Hills

It was a day of sunshine and heavy showers and I was just outside Budleigh Salterton watching my friend's team play cricket. They were playing on an all weather wicket, so the showers didn't stop play and I got some good action shots.

In between photographing the cricket, the weather was giving some good light on the hills across the river and I took several shots of the sun lighting up the fields. Then, between a couple of the showers, mist began to form in the trees just below the horizon and the hazy sun highlighted it against the dark trees.
