Mime Light

I spent a bit of time today being enlightened by Dr. Mime. Initially, we spoke about light trails and genetically modified food. But, I soon learned that his world has been upended, having been served a summons to remove his billboards and his artwork from the edge of Highway 65. The issue is not freedom of speech or the content of his art or his flea sale items. Rather, the sheriff stated that his items were to close to the road and likely to cause driver distraction.

Surprisingly, Dr. Mime was not bitter about the summons. He said he knew it was inevitable. He knew he was breaking the law. Now, he is dutifully moving his items without a word of complaint.

Dr. Mime may be highly opinioned and expressive, but he is certainly not disruptive.
