Mirage

It's been a very hot day.

"Very hot" has been the description here since we arrived home from the Central Coast on August 20th. Summer really isn't June, July, and August; it's really more like August, September, and October. I think the high today was 99 degrees F.

I stepped outside with the pooches after dinner, and the pool looked lovely. We're now inside with the AC pumping. The heat doesn't even cool in the evenings.
