opening day

our first of eight neos days today, and we got off to an amazing start with over 110 visitors through the door - lots of friends, locals, folk doing the neos trail and familiar faces from previous years.

it was busy, great to be sitting round the table with the meldrum makers big and small again and nice to have the band playing...

and I took my when I'm a stranger photo! a lovely irish bloke called richard who had walked from kintore to meldrum with his australian friend and was sitting in front of the town hall with his shoes off enjoying a pie. they were on their way to the glengarioch distillery for a tour. he was very obliging and lovely - thanks richard!

I must approach more strangers for blips, I quite liked it.
