Welcome to the Annual Goldwings Motorcade.
GOOD NEWS - this event has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for the local lifeboat charity. Illuminated Goldwing Motorcycles gather in Scarborough for the weekend. All bikes are on parade for two days and this evening is always the night drive along the seafront - hence my late blip. Hundreds of folk turned out to view this grand parade.

BAD NEWS - the event is planned and manned by volunteers. The Council, in their wisdom, has decided to impose such strict regulations and, with the help of elfin safety, the volunteers have decided that this will be the last one.

I understand that the event is to move to Berwick - so good luck to them for they have bagged a cracking event.
